STEAM OVERLOAD: tHE RAGE

//Subject of "Final Degree Project" in Enti-UB (2019-2020)

Steam Overload: The Rage is a Twin Stick Shooter, Top Down 3D, based on defeating infinite waves of enemies in a city that combines steampunk art with Gaudí's architectural style.

Argument: In this steampunk world there is a phenomenon that moves the masses, the Steam Overload Robots Fight Reality Show. A show about fighting robots that have become aware of their lives. You will play one of the robots that will try to survive the show and escape.

​

 

The goal is to endure as many waves as possible while gaining upgrades and dynamically adjusting the experience.

​

 

The game consists of a wave mode, in which you will fight in each round in a different arena between six with its own traps, in addition to having a system that dynamically adjusts the experience inspired by the Left 4 Dead AI Director, two weapons different, nine improvements and four types of enemies. It also contains a museum mode where you can better appreciate the current art of the game, even art that was not finally included in the game.
